Introduction
Our company provides passenger handling, airport security and supervision of charter and scheduled airlines in the Dominican Republic as well as being a General Sales Agent for both passenger and cargo sales. We also provide full administration and representative services for all sectors of the Dominican government and private aeronautical enterprises, including, civil aviation, airport commission, internal tax department, ramp handlers, passenger handlers, line maintenance, caterers, etc.General Air Services has been specializing in this business since it was founded in 1985 when awarded its firsts representation contracts. Through the years, we have worked with different airlines. At the present moment we represent 9 airlines for passenger sales: Air Caraïbes, Bahamasair, Caribbean Airlines, Central Wings, Eurofly, Insel Air, LIAT Airline, Martinair and Surinam Airways, and 11 airlines for cargo sales (Air Caraïbes, Air Caraïbes Atlantique, Air Pullmantur, Air Transat, Austrian Airlines, Delta Air Lines, IBC Airways, Insel Air, LIAT Airline, Livingston Aviation Group and Martinair). In addition to this we provide the ground services supervision to 26 major airlines: Air Antilles Express, Air Caraïbes, Air Caraïbes Atlantique, Air Europe, Air Finland, Austrian Airlines, Bahamasair, Caribbean Airlines, Continental Airlines, Eurofly, Exel Aviation Group, First Air, Hooters Air, Insel Air, Laker Airways (Bahamas) Ltd., LIAT Airline, Livingston Aviation Group, Martinair, Miami Air International, Pace Airlines, República Checa, Rutaca Airlines, Southeast Airlines, Surinam Airways, XL Airways France and Xtra Airways.
